Build & Email Campaign
Brief:
Create a new website which told RWCA's inspiring story, incorporated CTAs to
encourage contact and donations. Digital marketing to promote the fine work RWCA does in Rwanda.
Result:
I customised a Wordpress theme to create an attractive website that met all
of RWCA's requirements and more. I trained the team on how to add new content themselves and kicked off an
email marketing campaign using Mailchimp. Olivier Nsengimana, the founder of RWCA was delighted with the
result and referred me to his contacts for other projects.

Website Build
Brief:
Create a new website befitting the top-tier level of education offered by
BEK, the focus was on driving an increase in student numbers by presenting the school in a prestigeous way.
Result:
Using a bootstrap template as a starting point, I used high quality imagery
and modified CSS to ensure the end product was an appealing, responsive, fast loading website. CTAs were
placed strategically to encourage prospective students to get in touch to arrange a tour.

"Chris has always been approachable, responsive and extremely professional and we are sorry to see him leave! After launching our organisation website, we were so satisfied with the result, we asked him to help us with two separate sites connected to our organisation. I can highly recommend working with Chris."

About Me
Full-Stack Web Development
I'm a full-stack web developer who takes great pride in creating attractive, responsive and user friendly web applications. Currently i'm loving working with React.
Project Management
I have previously worked in IT Project Management and have led projects from hardware upgrades to website overhauls. This experience has certainly helped me to look at my work through the eyes of my clients.
Always driven to look for the most efficient way to get the admin done, I learnt, and eventually trained others in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel.

Away from work
My wife works for the British Foreign Office so we have travelled a lot. We've previously lived in Seoul, South Korea and Kigali, Rwanda. Both such interesting places with difficult histories and inspiring stories.
I love sports, i'll watch anything and play what my aging joints will allow! At the moment i'm getting back into Tennis after a long hiatus.
